01 Who we are

LC PROGRESSONE LEARNING LTD, trading as Progress One, is the controller responsible for the personal data described in this notice. Our registered office is Sophokli Demetriou 2, 8820 Polis, Pafos, Cyprus.

Company registration no. HE 446194
VAT no. CY 60002105C
Privacy contact: contact@progress-one.com

02 Personal data we collect

When you send an enquiry, we collect the information you choose to provide: your name, work email address, company, project goal or message, and the content of later correspondence. Providing it is voluntary, but without it we cannot answer your enquiry.

If you arrived through a link that identifies its origin, an enquiry may also carry how you first found the site and how you returned to send it: the traffic source and campaign labels from that link (UTM tags), the address of the referring site, and the page you landed on. This is noted by your browser when you visit, stays on your device, and reaches us only together with an enquiry you choose to submit.

Our hosting and security providers may also process technical data such as your IP address, request time, requested page, browser or device information, referrer where available, and diagnostic or security events.

Please do not submit patient data, health records, confidential clinical information, or other special-category personal data through the website.

03 How and why we use it

We use personal data only where we have a valid reason to do so:

  • to respond to your enquiry and take steps you request before a possible contract - Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, where applicable;
  • to manage B2B enquiries and professional relationships - our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR;
  • to understand which channels bring enquiries to us, using the visit origin described above - our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR;
  • to operate, diagnose, and protect the website - our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; and
  • to meet legal obligations - Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

We do not use website enquiry data for automated decision-making or profiling.

04 Cookies and analytics

The website does not use behavioural advertising, cross-site tracking, or advertising cookies, and there is no general-purpose analytics. Our hosting provider processes technical logs needed to deliver and secure the site, and the enquiry form’s provider records when the form is shown, when someone starts filling it in, leaves without sending it, or submits it, together with basic technical data, so that submissions arrive reliably and we can tell whether the form itself is working; we do not use this to profile visitors or follow them across other sites. The site also uses the browser’s own storage, and nothing in it leaves your device by itself: a draft of the form survives moving between pages in the same tab and is cleared once the form is sent, and the origin of your visit is kept (until you clear your browser data) so that it can accompany an enquiry if you send one. We do not use this storage to identify you across other sites.

If this changes, we will update this notice and request consent where the law requires it.

05 Who may receive personal data

We disclose personal data only when necessary: to providers that host, secure, maintain, or deliver the website and email; to the service that receives and manages enquiries for us (currently a customer-relationship-management platform using EU data centres); to professional advisers bound by confidentiality; or to public authorities where disclosure is legally required.

We do not sell or rent personal data. Service providers may use it only to perform the services we ask them to provide.

06 International transfers

Some service providers may process personal data outside Cyprus or the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful safeguard for the transfer.

07 How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and related correspondence only for as long as needed to respond, manage a possible or ongoing business relationship, meet legal obligations, and establish or defend legal claims.

Technical logs are retained according to the hosting or security provider’s operational schedule. Client project and accounting records are governed by the relevant agreement and applicable legal retention duties.

08 Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask us for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. These rights are not absolute and legal exceptions may apply.

To exercise a right, email contact@progress-one.com. We may need to verify your identity. You may also complain to the Cyprus Commissioner for Personal Data Protection or to the supervisory authority in the country where you live or work.

09 Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10 Third-party links

The website may link to social networks or other third-party sites. Once you leave progress-one.com, the third party’s own privacy notice and terms apply. We are not responsible for how those services handle personal data.

11 Changes and contact

We may update this notice when the website, our providers, or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
